Mums & Tots

Our Mums & Tots group meet on a Thursday at 10.00am during school term time only.

We hope that you and your child/children will enjoy and benefit from the time you spend here each Thursday. As parents and carers you will have the chance to meet and chat with others in a similar situation to yourself; also to enjoy a cup of tea/coffee and see your child/children play, learn and make friends. We hope to vary the activities available to the children, having play dough, painting, crafts etc. some weeks.

Our group will follow a fairly similar format each week. There will be some general playtime and chat to begin with followed by a snack [toast/biscuits and juice] and then some more play time. There will also be a short story and some singing.

On a practical note there are a few points for you to consider which will help to make the group run more smoothly and to keep your children safe.

- YOU are responsible for the children you bring

- at ALL times for the duration of the session

- for safety during playtime and what they eat and drink at snack time.

- we operate a NO SMOKING policy

- when having hot tea and coffee, please be especially aware of the safety of the children.

- please DO NOT obstruct the Fire Exit.

We would ask that each week, as we come in, you sign your name and the number of children you have brought, so we know exactly how many are present in the case of an emergency. There is also a contribution of £1.00 to help towards the general running costs - tea, replacing toys etc.
