In the morning, we concluded our studies in the Apostles’ Creed. We were looking at the last phrase of the creed, ‘and life everlasting’. How good it is to know that because Jesus died and rose again from the dead, He is able to give life everlasting to all who trust Him for salvation. We were reminded that life everlasting is not just about life that goes on and on and never ends, but it is about knowing God here and now and then so much more in the age to come.
After the morning service we enjoyed our church meal together.
In the evening, the sermon focused on the return of the Lord Jesus Christ and how we should be living in the expectation and anticipation of His return.
